About the course

Stocksbridge Golf Club, situated 11 miles from Sheffield, was formed in 1924 by a local steelworks for its employees. The golf club offers a warm welcome to all visitors, whether as part of a small casual party or as a larger society event (for whom various package deals are available).

While relatively short by today’s standards the golf course, with its tough terrain and sometimes strong winds, offers a decent test to all levels of golfer. The small greens ensure that accuracy is a main priority and the golf course’s hilltop position affords some stunning views of the surrounding area.
