About the course

Designed by John Harris and Brian Griffiths, both renowned architects and where, Woosnam won his first professional tournament, this 18 hole golf course is one of the most spectacular in Shropshire.

Whether a member of the club or visiting on a golfing break, the course will challenge even a scratch golfer. The course offers 6741 yards of magnificent golf, along tree-lined fairways, through open greens and over strategic water hazards. The signature 8th hole is a 382 yard par 4. A good drive is needed to ensure the safety of the fairway avoiding the two bunkers. You must then negotiate the water hazard in order to reach the safety of the green – simple!

After a round on the course, relax in the club house, overlooking the 18th and, whilst enjoying a refreshing drink and snack, dissect every detail of your game.
