About the course
Old Padeswood Golf Club is situated in the beautiful Alyn Valley with panoramic views of the local hills. Moel Fammau, with its tower built to commemorate Queen Victoria’s golden Jubilee, provides the backdrop to a number of the holes.
Nine of the holes are over relatively flat land and the balance of the topography is more undulating at the final hole which is a signature hole and a par 3 of over 180 yards being played over a deep valley. It is all carry to the green and if you don’t take enough club leaves a very difficult recovery shot.
Players of all levels will be challenged without the more inexperienced being too intimidated.
