About the course

Designed by former champion golfer Henry Cotton 1981, Ingol Village Golf Club has matured into one of the finest places to play in the whole of Lancashire.

One hole to definitely look out for is the second, rated as the most difficult, it is a dog-leg right, and with a drive over a ravine and a second shot played over a pond.
Described as a "˜tree lined cracker’, it’s a tough start to your round and a hole you’ll be talking about with your friends in the bar later.
The course is built to exact championship standards and is situated in 150 acres of parkland just five minutes from the M6, junction 32.

The course par is 68 over 6027 yards from the whites and 5629 yards from the yellows.
Ingol Village Golf Club is a tough test of golf set in 150 acres of tree lined fairways, with streams running through various areas of the course, the course presents a real challenge for all levels of golfer.

Making a good score around Ingol Village Golf Club means strategic play and good course management, this is of high priority.
Don’t be fooled by its par of 68, many of the holes here can cause problems to a scorecard.
