About the course
Didsbury Golf Club was founded as a nine-hole golf course on land near the local railway station in 1891. The front room of the stationmaster’s house became its first clubhouse until 1901 when it moved to its present 18-hole site alongside the River Mersey. Visitors are always welcome, but small groups and individuals must contact the professional or golf club manager to arrange a slot. Society organisers ought to deal directly with the manager to discuss their requirements. Society days tend to be Thursday and Friday but it is not unusual to find a booking available on any day at certain times of the year.
