About the course

Here at Piperdam we are very excited about the new golf season as we have been hard at work through the winter making further improvements to our new layout. An extensive redesign in 2015 saw us remove the two hilly holes on the front nine and replaced them with some exciting and picturesque new holes later in the round. In addition to the new holes we gave a facelift to at least half a dozen others and reshaped many bunkers and water hazards. Our new course now boasts a much improved layout with five par 3’s and four par 5’s. The course now manages to be both less demanding, physically and mentally, for our mid to high handicappers, and trickier with more thought provoking risk and reward style holes for the lower handicapped players. The course is known for having excellent putting surfaces and a number of unique and picturesque holes that guarantee a truly enjoyable and memorable experience.

Piperdam also still benefits from a second course on site. A superb nine hole par three golf courses that has played host to Scotland’s National Par 3 Championship. A great variety of holes and large USGA spec greens make this unlike any short course you’ll have ever played.

Other facilities at Piperdam also include our recently added Professional shop and locker rooms, short game area, putting green and a magnificent bar and lounge area provides golfers with everything they require. For any non golfers in your group there are also great leisure facilities that consists of a full gym and 20 meter indoor heated pool. An exciting addition to our resort in March 2017 will also see our new kids soft play area open up in our activity centre.

Piperdam now enjoys first class facilities throughout. So whether you are an individual visitor or looking to come with your family or even a large party we will be happy to meet your needs.
