About the course
Saltburn-by-the-sea Golf Club is a superb tree-lined golf course with outstanding views over the town and the sea beyond. Although relatively short, it is a challenging golf course with some particularly tricky par 3s and is quite hilly in places. Founded in 1894, the golf club has been at its present site at Hob Hill since 1896. The golf course extension to 18 holes in 1922 was designed by the legendary James Braid.
